While not all we have a shop or commercial space within the extension of our house, there are those who we like to give a local touch of industrial. That is just a loft, which, although not the entire house at least have that touch on the common areas and more colorful, such as living room, kitchen and terrace.
One main rule in decorating lofts to respect the
elements that were initially on the premises. However, if our house was not built on what was once a shop or factory, it must take into consideration the typical elements of any such space and incorporated in the decor. So we have some “essential” as the metal shelves and / or glass windows, stairs, wood / metal and windows with shutters, to name a few.
But often it happens that the minimalism characteristic of a loft (usually decorated with dark colors) reduces brightness to the room, which is why it is necessary to resort to other elements in precisely the same tendency to enhance the warmth to be reimbursed in any home, sweet home. Hence we can convert a loft in an eclectic simple as our measure.
For example, do not lose their air of modern furniture you can use a recycling of different colors, but contrasting each other. So instead of a long sofa we can use the modular and place them on the corners with large cushions placed on the sides, and completing the number of seats. Of course, they must be on a carpet, which should preferably be one color or a geometric model.
Likewise, high lights and flowers never go unnoticed strategically located and provide the master touch of light the room it needs. And it is worth putting a couple of paintings and color photographs on the walls or lying on the floor, provided they are large (in this case). Do you have any other suggestions?
